About

Library and Resource Centre of R.G.Sapkal Institute Of Pharmacy was established in 2015. Library is situated in a separate two storied block of 154.23 sq. mt. surrounded by lush green area. It has an ample stock of 1743 Books. 10 National and international journals and periodicals are subscribed currently which facilitates research in our institute. It is most lively place on the campus providing a safe, comfortable and friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge, and promotes innovation. It maintains separate department of Welfare SC/ST/OBC student’s book-bank scheme books, periodical section, bound volumes of journals & e-books collections, compact discs and educational Videos. We have subscription to multiple copies of National, regional and local news-papers and magazines. We have an attractive reading room, where readers find conductive environment for reading. The Library & Resource Centre has developed an excellent collection of books, journals and non-book material in science, engineering, technology, humanities, social sciences and management. It maintains separate collections of Reference Books, Video Cassettes & Compact Discs.
Our Users can now access full text Journals and several important bibliographic databases on library Intranet network. Library has subscribed 1 Mbps bandwidth broadband internet connection.
The library WEB OPAC gives the access to various open access E-resources, E-books, library book & journal collection, Syllabus, Question paper on the desk.

Membership

DELNET (Developing Library Network) was started at the India International Centre Library in January 1988 and was registered as a society in 1992.DELNET has been established with the prime objective of promoting resource sharing among the libraries through the development of a network of libraries. It aims to collect, store, and disseminate information besides offering computerized services to users, to coordinate efforts for suitable collection development and to reduce unnecessary duplication wherever possible.

Exclusive access includes: Zinio e-magazines, Press Reader international publications, WF Howes e-audio books, Indieflix streaming films, Digital Theatre Plus, E-brary academic e-books, ProQuest Central scientific e-journals, JSTOR humanities e-journals, Credo reference materials, Grid Club children educational resources, Atomic Training learning resource, Comic Plus graphic novels for children, Qello concerts, Literature Online e-learning materials and Myilibrary aggregated e-books.
ProQuest’s collections span six centuries, all disciplines and the diverse content types needed by researchers, providing the world’s largest collection of dissertations and theses; three centuries of newspapers; more than 450,000 academic eBooks; collections of important scholarly journals and other content researchers need such as data; and unique digital vaults of primary source materials.
JSTOR is a highly selective digital library of academic content in many formats and disciplines. The collections include top peer-reviewed scholarly journals as well as respected literary journals, academic monographs, research reports from trusted institutes, and primary sources. Full runs of more than 2,600 top scholarly journals in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences. JSTOR works with a diverse group of nearly 1,200 publishers from more than 57 countries to preserve and make their content digitally available. 70,000 DRM-free e-books from scholarly publishers, integrated with journals and primary sources on JSTOR. The collection includes both backlist and front list titles, and there are no limitations on the number of uses or downloads. More than 2 million primary sources across four collections: Global Plants, 19th Century British Pamphlets, Struggles for Freedom: Southern Africa, and World Heritage Sites: Africa. The artifacts, specimens, and documents in the collections are scanned at high resolution to enable detailed inspection of each item.
NDL:s National Digital Library Educational materials are available for users ranging from primary to post-graduate levels, Repository hosts contents from multiple subject domains like Technology, Science, Humanities, Agriculture and others, More than 60 types of learning resources are available,15, 00,000 + Items have been authored by 1.5 lakh authors, Items are available in more than 70 languages, Repository integrates contents from different Indian Institutional Repositories
The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), a project funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), provides e-learning through online Web and Video courses in Engineering, Sciences, Technology, Management and Humanities. It has developed curriculum based video courses and web-based e-courses targeting students and faculty of institutions offering UG engineering and Management programs.
