The Physiology Lab is well maintained with the equipments and apparatus required for learning general techniques for blood collection, conducting various hematological assessments and interpreting the findings, recording and monitoring vital physiological signs in individuals and understanding the basic implications of the results. The lab also avails the facilities for conducting microscopic examinations of various tissues mounted on glass slides. Furthermore exploring the anatomical and physiological features of different organ systems through the use of models, charts, and other educational tools. The Staff is constantly engaged in providing in-depth knowledge to the students regarding various aspects of Physiology.
The Pharmacognosy lab is equipped with high brand microscopes, camera lucida, stage micrometers and microtome etc. for the detailed study of crude drugs. Display of various photographs of crude drugs available. Various crude drug charts and models available for the ease of learning. Crude drug specimen museum is displayed so as to study the drugs in detail in its natural form. To aid study of drugs from plant origin three different medicinal plant gardens are developed in the vicinity viz. Charak Vatika, Shushruta Vatika and Navgraha Vatika which play a very important role in identification of plant species by the students. Departmental library facility is made available for the staff and students in the laboratory.
