The Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab is well developed to meet the demands of the course. It aids practical learning opportunities covering various aspects of chemical substances utilized in drugs and pharmaceuticals. The requirements for performing limit tests and assays for specific chemical substances according to their monographs, conducting volumetric analysis for the chemical substances, means to explore fundamental concepts in preparatory chemistry and their analytical techniques and utilizing systematic qualitative analysis methods to identify chemical drugs are made available in the laboratory.
The Biochemistry and Clinical Pathology Lab is used to offer training sessions and practical exercises focused on qualitatively identifying biomolecules like carbohydrates, proteins, amino acids, lipids etc. within simulated biological samples. All the necessary requirements for the same are available. The lab also has provisions to conduct hands-on practice to distinguish between normal and abnormal components found in simulated blood and urine samples.
